Recently, Sea-Intelligence released its latest global schedule reliability rankings for October 2024, highlighting the performance of major shipping companies.

According to the data, global schedule reliability improved by 0.9 percentage points in October, reaching 51.5%. Throughout 2024, the average schedule reliability of shipping companies has remained stable in the 50%-55% range.

In October 2024, Maersk once again emerged as the most reliable carrier among 13 major shipping lines, achieving a schedule reliability rate of 57.9%. Following closely was MSC at 52%, while CMA CGM ranked third with a reliability rate of 49.7%.

 

Notably, Maersk’s schedule reliability has shown consistent improvement over recent months.

Additionally, the average delay for late-arriving vessels decreased by 0.14 days in October, bringing the average to 5.72 days.
